Beth Kilgore – Treasurer

Growing up at a young age, Beth Kilgore’s parents instilled to her and her siblings the importance of volunteer work. In fact, at age 14 each child was required to get a volunteer job, Beth’s being at the local Cockeysville library which later at age 16 turned into a part-time job. She was very involved with volunteer work at her church, St. John’s Episcopal, in Glyndon where she was an acolyte and a member of the youth group and that continued through her high school years at Roland Park Country School. After her graduation from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Virginia, Beth became a weekly evening volunteer at Villa Maria, a facility in Timonium which is part of Catholic Charities, working with children who had behavioral, emotional and learning difficulties. She continued as a volunteer at Villa Maria, while working for The TAMRAC Group, a local insurance agency, until she and her husband, Trevor, moved into their first home in Reisterstown and decided to start a family. After the families move to Parkton, Beth left her employer to be a stay-at-home Mom to her children, Brooke and Andrew. The family joined a local Episcopal church, St. James’ Parkton, and Beth volunteered with the Sunday School as a teacher and with parish events for the community. As her children grew older, she continued her volunteer activities there by chairing their Holiday Festival in November each year and helping out with other fundraising activities. She currently works for Wedding411 (a multi-media marketing company that provides resources for engaged couples), where she has been for 10 years as their bookkeeper and customer service rep. She is excited to join Renovare Mission, Inc. as their treasurer.
