Abigail Blades – Board Member

I am a University of Delaware Alumna with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, and am currently a CPA employed by Baltimore County Government. Since I was little, I’ve had a passion for helping others. I’ve done everything from Girl Scouts, to For Our Troops club, to helping out with my Sorority’s philanthropy. However, growing up in a household where waste management is a hot topic, I was always drawn to the idea of helping the environment. Which is why when I came home after college and noticed the roads were littered with trash, I began organizing community trash cleanups. Around this time, after seeing Brooke’s posts on Facebook, I also began putting together donations for Bulls Bringing Blessing. While my involvement began with buying a few small things at the store when I could, it has slowly evolved into my family using my apartment as a giant donation center. I look forward to working with Renovare Mission to combine my two passions and to continue helping others through service and the environment.
